The 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is the sporty road bike and mountain bike race saddle. The wave-like shape and the raised tail of the saddle ensure perfect rear support and optimum pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, which significantly improves power transmission to the pedal. The lowered nose in combination with the recess in the middle creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for women and men. Many small detail improvements in shape, technology and material raise the 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 to a new level. The 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is equipped with the active technology with a softer and lighter movement with less weight. The SQlab active saddle technology allows the saddle to follow the pedalling movement, which increases comfort, mobilises the intervertebral discs and minimises pressure on the sit bones.

The stronger narrower mid-section and the narrow saddle nose gives more legroom. The proven SQlab ERGOWAVE form relieves the soft tissue area and prevents energy-consuming bad posture. The saddle shell is weight and flex optimized down to the last detail. More longitudinal stiffness and perfectly coordinated material flex to the side mean more comfort with less weight at the same time. The cover is extremely light but also abrasion-resistant and non-slip. The padding is closed-cell and strongly minimized. The comfort comes from the shape and the flex behavior between rail, shell and foam, which is coordinated as an overall system.
